Stage 42 Completion Report

Release: v1.4.0
Evidence baseline: 28 July 2026
Validation status: release candidate
Repository: Conroy1988/MissionChief-UK
Production: GitHub Pages

The MissionChief UK Guide has completed the planned transition from a reference catalogue into an evidence-led UK operations-intelligence platform.

The production estate now contains:

  • the complete retained official UK mission catalogue;
  • 1,079 canonical mission records protected by strict equivalence checks;
  • complete canonical mapping for all 1,062 current official mission IDs;
  • structured vehicle, infrastructure, training and role records;
  • versioned deterministic JSON and OpenAPI publication;
  • browser-side mission lookup, comparison, concurrency, query and readiness tools;
  • mature operational guides for every represented emergency-service group;
  • cross-service account progression and station-placement doctrine;
  • member, dispatcher and administrator alliance operations; and
  • desktop, iPhone and iPad browser acceptance across the core programme routes.

The canonical mission count exceeds the official mission-ID count because explicit variants, overlays and historical records remain independently represented where required by the evidence model.

Every represented service group now documents:

  1. infrastructure and extension relationships;
  2. deployable resource contracts;
  3. personnel states and verified qualifications;
  4. mission progression and representative pressure;
  5. cross-service dependencies;
  6. scalable recommended templates;
  7. geographic and access considerations;
  8. concurrency and protected reserve;
  9. common failure modes; and
  10. evidence limits and last-verification state.

Searches canonical and official mission evidence without guessing official keys into resource mappings.

Compares only populated canonical resource and qualification fields.

Multiplies guaranteed requirements and preserves alternative groups independently.

Provides deterministic cross-collection evidence retrieval.

Combines selected canonical incidents with user-entered local inventory, protected reserve, personnel thresholds, capacity-aware alternative allocation, towing/carrier checks and recovery workload reporting.

No tool authenticates against or mutates a MissionChief account.

The release pipeline enforces:

  • canonical schema and relationship validation;
  • official-catalogue checksum, losslessness and reconciliation;
  • deterministic generated exports;
  • release metadata and note consistency;
  • link and anchor audit;
  • strict MkDocs build;
  • JavaScript syntax validation;
  • desktop Chromium interactions;
  • iPhone and iPad WebKit viewport acceptance;
  • page-level overflow detection;
  • critical WCAG A/AA checks; and
  • exact-deployment production smoke tests.

A release is published only after the exact main SHA has deployed successfully to GitHub Pages.

v1.4.0 is an additive release on API contract v1. Collection envelopes, canonical IDs and existing field meanings remain compatible. New guides and browser tools do not require a data-consumer migration.

The programme is complete without pretending that every possible game field is known. Directly unverified values remain intentionally unpublished, including some:

  • building and extension economics;
  • vehicle staffing and capacity rules;
  • course details and transferability;
  • station, classroom and equipment capacities;
  • hidden unlock conditions;
  • live dispatch substitution behaviour;
  • patient, custody and recovery turnaround formulas; and
  • alliance permission, contribution and limit mechanics.

These are maintenance evidence targets, not gaps to fill with assumptions.

Future work enters one of four controlled lanes:

  1. upstream drift — changed official missions, requirements, vehicles or documentation;
  2. evidence enrichment — directly reproduced unknown fields;
  3. defect correction — data, guide, tool, accessibility or production regressions; or
  4. compatible enhancement — additive guidance or browser capability that preserves the v1 contract.

Every change continues through provenance, deterministic validation, exact-head merge and production verification.
