Privacy & consent
TKB Gaming is an independent community website. We keep guide tools local where possible, collect only what a visitor deliberately submits, and require consent before advertising storage is enabled where the law requires it.
Local guide data
Bookmarks, progress, notes, planner state and other personal guide preferences are stored in your browser unless a feature clearly says otherwise. They are not uploaded merely because you use a guide.
Voluntary submissions
When you send a guide enquiry or evidence report, we receive the fields you choose to provide, such as your name, email address and message. Submissions enter a controlled review inbox and never publish automatically.
Privacy-safe telemetry
TKB may record aggregate feature events without persistent visitor identifiers. The telemetry endpoint does not retain IP addresses and honours the Global Privacy Control signal. We use these totals to maintain the site, not to build individual behaviour profiles.
Advertising
Google AdSense may support hosting and guide maintenance. Advertising storage, personalisation and related device access default to denied. Where required, a Google-certified consent message asks before those purposes are enabled. Google may process data under its own policies after a valid choice.
Retention and sharing
We keep submitted information only as long as needed to answer, verify evidence, prevent abuse or meet legal duties. We do not sell personal information. Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate the site or when the law requires it.
Your rights
UK and EEA visitors may request access, correction, erasure, restriction or objection, and may withdraw consent at any time. Contact guides@tkb-gaming.scot. We may need enough information to verify and action the request safely.
Review privacy choices
Use this control to withdraw or change a previous advertising choice. If the certified message is not yet active for your region, no optional advertising consent is recorded.
Security and changes
We use transport security, same-origin checks, rate limits and anti-spam controls where appropriate. Material changes to this notice will update the date above; evidence and advertising changes remain reviewable website releases.
