The four-outlet Mk II structure matches the English in-game description.

Two BP_DrainBooster actors are placed in Downtown Station. The class default is:

The files do not prove whether both boosters stack, share state or represent alternate activation points.

Community field technique: hose into drain

Section titled “Community field technique: hose into drain”

Players report that a discharge hose pointed into the centre of a compatible drain can reduce backsplash and remove output efficiently. The same reports describe the technique as finicky and inconsistent between drains, with no universal snap prompt.

Treat it as a sourced community technique. It is not a guaranteed connection mechanic.

Multiple Steam bug reports describe pumps that appear to output more water than they remove when running in shallow water. This has not been directly reproduced by TKB in build 0.3.1.12.

Practical response:

  1. Stop pumps that are blinking or operating in nearly dry water.
  2. Let the region settle for several seconds.
  3. Resume with the vacuum or squeegee.
  4. Restart the pump only when it has a clear intake pool and a safe discharge route.
