Build Laboratory
A local-first controlled testing workspace for transparent character, weapon and encounter trade-off analysis.
Patch 2.00.00 rebuild protocol
Section titled “Patch 2.00.00 rebuild protocol”Existing learned-skill progression resets once when Version 2.00.00 first launches, with previously spent resources—including Abyss Artifacts—refunded. Rebuild one character at a time, save the prior configuration as notes or screenshots, and keep part of the refunded pool unspent until the eight new story-gated Kliff skills are documented.
Builds must now model character-owned Abyss Links. Resetting one character refunds that character’s spent Links rather than resetting everybody. Do not publish new-skill names, costs or rotations until they are observed on the current build.

Build Laboratory
Choose a transparent archetype, hold test conditions constant and record your own results. The laboratory does not publish a tier list or convert personal observations into guide facts.

A build is useful only when its test conditions and trade-offs are visible. This laboratory stores your trials locally and deliberately avoids universal rankings, invented DPS values or cross-character comparisons made under changing conditions.
Controlled-test standard
Section titled “Controlled-test standard”- Fix the save, character, equipment state, target, arena and difficulty.
- Establish a repeatable baseline before changing one variable.
- Record failures, healing, resource pressure, recovery and terrain—not only successful attacks.
- Repeat the same trial before increasing confidence.
- Keep personal results private unless independently corroborated for the current patch.
See Combat Fundamentals, Weapon & Skill Testing, Gear, Refinement & Extraction and Boss & Encounter Diagnosis for the supporting method.
