Pets & Companion Creatures
Registration, growth, equipment, special-mount conversion and recovery for supported companion creatures.
Keep pets, ordinary mounts and special mounts as separate records even when one creature can move between those roles.
Creature states

Registration workflow
Section titled “Registration workflow”- Identify the species.
- Record the required trust or unique method.
- save before registration;
- complete the supported interaction;
- verify the inventory tab;
- equip only compatible items;
- confirm state after quit and reload.
Patch 1.06 documented special mounts including bears, boars, wolves, deer, mountain goats, Kuku birds, iguanas, raptors, camels, lions and tigers.
Growth conversion
Section titled “Growth conversion”Patch 1.08 added 20 small-animal species and Baby Wyverns as pets. Patch 1.10 added growth for Kuku Bird Chicks and Baby Wyverns, allowing supported conversion to special mounts after sufficient growth.
The guide does not claim growth time or feed quantity without a verified test.
Equipment
Section titled “Equipment”Special-mount saddles use the dedicated inventory tab. Pet equipment and mount equipment are not interchangeable. Confirm species compatibility in the live item description.
Safety rules
Section titled “Safety rules”- keep inventory capacity available when pets collect items;
- do not release a creature to diagnose another problem;
- save before growth conversion;
- record the active quick-slot assignment;
- confirm equipment survives character switching and reload;
- preserve the exact pet name when reporting a console keyboard freeze.
Current issue
Section titled “Current issue”PlayStation can freeze if characters are entered rapidly while naming a pet or horse. Enter characters slowly with brief pauses until the issue is resolved.
