Housing, Furniture & Customisation
Save-safe house selection, interior and exterior decoration, furniture handling and appearance customisation.
Housing is both a layout system and an item system. Protect placed furniture and record the selected house before changing either.
House layouts
Section titled “House layouts”Patch 1.04 documented four layouts unlocked through Greymane Camp expansion:
- Compact House
- Standard House
- Spacious House
- Spacious Pailunese House
Use Select House to change layout. Changing the layout retrieves placed furniture; ordinary camp expansion should not.
Safe redesign
Section titled “Safe redesign”- Create a manual save.
- Record the current house and camp tier.
- Photograph important rooms and exterior placements.
- Retrieve rare or uniquely obtained items.
- use Retrieve All only after checking storage space;
- change one layout or placement group;
- verify the result after quit and reload;
- make a new manual save.
Interior and exterior
Section titled “Interior and exterior”Patch 1.12 added decoration outside the house plus new equipment and furniture. Treat interior and exterior inventories as one ownership ledger even when placement areas differ.
Item handling
Section titled “Item handling”- Furniture and ornaments can stack after Patch 1.06.
- Carpets have a dedicated decoration category after Patch 1.10.
- Some furniture comes from minigame exchanges or regional vendors.
- A complete furniture catalogue is not officially published; do not infer a total from one shop.
Placement troubleshooting
Section titled “Placement troubleshooting”Patch 1.16 fixed unstable control when moving installable items near walls. Patch 1.16.02 also fixes indoor housing features becoming unavailable in Housing Mode under certain circumstances. Current Known Issues still identifies a Mac keyboard-and-mouse cursor offset at certain resolutions; if indoor features remain unavailable on Version 1.16.03, preserve the save and report the exact house, platform and action as a possible regression.
If placement is wrong:
- stop before accepting the change;
- move the item away from walls;
- compare pointer and placement positions;
- test a supported resolution or controller without deleting settings;
- retrieve the affected item;
- reload the newest safe save if ownership is uncertain.
Customisation boundary
Section titled “Customisation boundary”Keep housing, character appearance, dye and equipment visibility as separate states. Record the specific menu and item when reporting a fault.
Completion record
Section titled “Completion record”A housing collection entry needs:
- exact item name;
- source and cost if displayed;
- category;
- interior or exterior eligibility;
- stack behaviour;
- dye or interaction support;
- patch and evidence.
