Trading & Banking
Patch 1.16.00 field guide to trading posts, wagon workshops, trade routes, price pressure, storage and bank investment.
Patch 1.16.00 turns trading into a connected Pywel-wide logistics system. The official notes define the rules below, but do not publish a complete list of all 133 post locations, every new good, exact price formulas or investment returns. Those details remain unclaimed until they can be verified in game.
Patch 1.17.00 trade-route display correction
Section titled “Patch 1.17.00 trade-route display correction”Patch 1.17.00 fixes trade routes appearing abnormally on the map. This is a display correction; the notice does not publish new route geometry, prices, cargo rules or profit values.
After updating, close and reopen the Trade tab, keep the same endpoints, filters and selected good, and compare the visible route before moving cargo. If the line still renders incorrectly, capture both endpoints, the selected good, zoom, platform and build rather than inferring a road from the faulty display.
Patch 1.16.01 hotfix verification
Section titled “Patch 1.16.01 hotfix verification”Patch 1.16.01 fixes the camp-storage interface fault that could occur after loading trade goods at a regional wagon workshop. Private Storage, the Feed Bin and the Gatherables Chest should now open their own interfaces instead of Wagon Cargo.
The safe trade loop, workshop list, cargo-loss warning and market-planning guidance below do not depend on the fault and remain current. The hotfix changes interface reliability; it does not change the published trade values, workshop regions, stacking rules or bank mechanics.
What changed
Section titled “What changed”| System | Verified Patch 1.16.00 rule |
|---|---|
| Trading posts | 133 new posts, including a merchant at Pailune Trading Post |
| Unlocks | New posts appear after relevant merchant-guild quests or nearby threats are cleared |
| Prices | Repeatedly selling too much of one good at one location can change its price |
| Remote routes | Posts that are harder to reach by wagon can offer higher profit |
| Royal posts | Trade-good prices are four times higher; delivered wagons no longer disappear |
| Trade goods | 24 new high-value types and 4 regular types |
| Packaged stacks | Up to 10 or 100 per stack, depending on price |
| Unpackaged stacks | Up to 5 or 50 per inventory slot |
| Transfers | Goods can move directly between horse and wagon |
| Wagon workshops | Seven intermediate hubs can package and load goods |
| Bank exposure | Interest gains or losses are capped at 40 Gold Bars |
| Investment access | Deposit at least 10 bonds to use Claim Bank Strongbox |
| Bond use | Exchange bonds for 10 Gold Bars or spend them in the Bond Shop |
The safe trade loop
Section titled “The safe trade loop”- Open the map’s Trade tab.
- Filter for the good you intend to move.
- Compare the visible market prices and quantities before buying.
- Check whether a trade-related event marker affects either endpoint.
- Choose a route that your wagon can actually complete.
- Package and load at a trading post or wagon workshop.
- Keep enough capacity free for route changes and unexpected goods.
- Deliver before repeating the same sale at one location.
- Recheck the destination price before committing another load.
- Record the buy price, sale price, route and patch before treating a route as proven.
Wagon workshops
Section titled “Wagon workshops”The seven official workshop regions are:
- Hernand
- Demeniss
- Delesyia
- Pailune
- Tommaso
- Urdavah
- Varnia
Workshops are intermediate logistics points. They can package and load trade goods, reducing the need to return to the original merchant before every route.
Using the Trade map
Section titled “Using the Trade map”The new Trade tab can show:
- trading posts and royal trading posts;
- wagon workshops and wagon routes;
- filters for merchants selling a selected good;
- market prices in each post’s detail view;
- average buy price;
- horse and wagon quantities for the selected good;
- special markers for merchants affected by trade events.
Register a packaged good in the map item filter directly from horse inventory, wagon inventory, trade-shop buy/sell screens or storage.
Banking and bonds
Section titled “Banking and bonds”The Claim Bank Strongbox is an investment system, not guaranteed income.
- Depositing 10 or more bonds unlocks investment.
- Bank-interest gains and losses are each limited to 40 Gold Bars.
- Bonds can be exchanged for 10 Gold Bars.
- The Bond Shop sells rare items for bonds.
Before investing, decide whether the bond’s guaranteed exchange value or an identified Bond Shop item is more important than accepting variable bank results. The official notice does not publish odds, timing or expected return, so this guide does not invent them.
Evidence still required
Section titled “Evidence still required”The following remain controlled research tasks:
- coordinates and prerequisites for every new trading post;
- the names, base values and stack class of all 28 new goods;
- precise price-decay and recovery formulas;
- verified end-to-end profit for each route;
- Claim Bank Strongbox odds, timing and expected value;
- complete Bond Shop inventory.
Community reports may identify candidates, but they do not become canonical route advice without a reproducible Patch 1.16.00 test.

The official Patch 1.16.00 notice was re-audited field by field. It does not supply the missing identities, coordinates, formulas, odds or inventory, so no additional exact row can be promoted from that notice alone.
