World Navigation & Service Hubs
A patch-aware field system for revealing regions, activating travel routes and auditing settlement services.
Crimson Desert becomes easier to navigate when every new region is treated as an information and logistics problem, not merely a road to the next quest marker.
Patch 1.18.01 map status
Section titled “Patch 1.18.01 map status”The hotfix corrects certain unnamed areas that displayed incorrectly on the map. Because the official note does not identify them, no location, route or completion state is inferred. If a display fault remains, reopen the same region at the same zoom and filter state, capture the result and report it as a possible Version 2.00.02 regression.

Regional arrival protocol
Section titled “Regional arrival protocol”Use this order whenever you enter a substantial new area:
- reveal local map information before committing to a route;
- identify the nearest Abyss Nexus or other usable travel point;
- mark a safe resupply or storage hub;
- inspect the smithy before spending materials;
- inspect saddlery stock if a special mount is part of the route;
- check provisioners, equipment shops, specialists and requests;
- leave with a manual save and a clear return point.
This procedure reduces repeated cross-region travel and protects materials from being spent before the local service options are understood.
Indexed world coverage
Section titled “Indexed world coverage”The Atlas now separates five geographic world regions—Hernand, Pailune, Demeniss, Delesyia and the Crimson Desert—from the continent-wide Pywel and non-geographic Abyss system layers.
The current fast-travel map index contains 213 Abyss Nexus identities:
| Region | Indexed Nexus records |
|---|---|
| Hernand | 52 |
| Pailune | 44 |
| Demeniss | 32 |
| Delesyia | 42 |
| Crimson Desert | 43 |
It also records all eight Toll of Pywel bells: Hernand, Scholastone, Calphade, Demeniss, Delesyia, Tommaso, Varnia and Pailune. These are searchable, locally trackable Atlas entries. A list identity is not treated as a coordinate, distance or verified road connection.
Discovery and travel systems
Section titled “Discovery and travel systems”Bell towers and map information
Section titled “Bell towers and map information”City bell towers and similar map-information interactions are useful first stops because they reveal regional context and nearby points of interest. Treat revealed markers as leads, not proof that every service or reward is immediately accessible.
Mysterious Energy
Section titled “Mysterious Energy”A Mysterious Energy location may lead to an Abyss Nexus, an Abyss puzzle or another traversal interaction. Investigate the area before assuming the marker is only decorative.
Abyss Nexuses
Section titled “Abyss Nexuses”Abyss Nexuses form the principal teleportation network. Post-launch patches expanded the network and relaxed activation restrictions:
- Patch 1.02.00 added an Abyss Nexus in Pailune and improved activation while moving slightly;
- Patch 1.03.00 allowed teleportation while mounted, falling, swimming or climbing walls;
- restored Abyss Skybridge Gates can also function as teleport destinations where available.
Trade network and bank access
Section titled “Trade network and bank access”Patch 1.16.00 added 133 trading posts, seven wagon workshops and a dedicated Trade map tab. Treat workshops as intermediate logistics hubs and re-check destination prices before repeating a sale because local oversupply can move the market.
Open Trading & Banking for the verified trade loop, workshop regions, cargo-loss warning and bank/bond decision model.
Structured service records
Section titled “Structured service records”The table below is generated from data/world-locations.json. Official rows are supported directly by Pearl Abyss patch material. Community rows are operational guide records that still need precise coordinates or current-patch screenshots before being upgraded.
